Nesa Azadikhah
Fine tuned deep-techno restraint from Nesa Azadikhah on the penultimate. Sonic grains on wider ambient paths. Rhythm centric, subtlety in groove. Delicate flashes of flavour, something bright. Aspirational maybe. Funked and steppy at times, blissed out and cyclical others. Malin Genie to Kerri Chandler and Marco Cassanelli. Slick one.

Our Soundtrack
Our Soundtrack. Music for the collective, songs for the human experience. Funked up gliding fusions of lounge, disco, fu-jazz, proto-house. Astral and firmly rooted in perfect tandem. Feel good booters from start to finish from Lalo Schifrin to Peaking Lights, The Diansonics and co. Tip!

Sakena's w/ Sakena & Hamraz Bayan
Sakena’s returns with Sakena at the helm inviting Hamraz Bayan. From Googoosh a la Iranian funk to Soviet state-led publications and freewheeling orchestration to Anatolian rock, a walk and talk through 20th century music from the world over. A hybrid fusion of styles and places from Barış Manço to Kati Kovács and Doris Duke. Essential!

Sound Dome b2b Crisco
So expands the realm. A subaltern melancholia. Progressive nostalgia, if such a misnomer is to exist. Tweaked analogue cycles is the method, early acid synthesis driven forth by some ghost in the machine. The conclusion of a long inebriated meeting between tech-house and progressive trance’s wigged out cousins. Balances the new school and the old. Volodymyr Gnatenko, Pletnev, Moonface, Kurilo. List goes on. Proper! Tip.

All Dayer Crew
Cap-R-Radio winders from All Dayer Crew to ease in the weekend. A descriptive hands-off glide through roots and dub up through jùjú, ambi-jazz, italo, funk, breakbeat, it goes on and on. Slick cuts up the walls. Maxed out fusion of human and analogue essences. Links the Chosen Brothers to Future Sound of London’s ‘Papua New Guinea’. Hi-Tek soul indeed, excellent stuff. TIP!

merle
Merle. Fuzz-feedback under lilting keys makes way for long drifting strands of ambience, when longing, almost ghostly vocal interplay like a gate to brewing desert percussion, and then, back to port, in the rain, amongst the herd. A kind of narrative ambience-as-wandering, with bits from morimoto naoki, Lorraine James, and Cucina Povera. Very good. Tip!

Skalm
Metallic mystics from Skalm for hour 3. A kind of pensive, low-rumbling, tweaked method of moving it forward. Non-rigidity as a North Star, guiding us ever further left-of-field via warping downtempo chuggers and industrial-esque sonic scatters. Ethno Service, Significant Other, Kobayashi Maru. Gritty meditations for a latent angst.

Notting Hill Carnival Special w/ N.E.GIRL b2b Sound and Fury
N.E. GIRL and Sound and Fury linkup in celebration of 60 years of Notting Hill Carnival. Framing lived Carnival experiences through what it means to them. The former’s UK bass music origins a later iteration in the lineage of the diaspora music to which Carnival is home. The latter having attended Carnival from 5 years old, coming to know over the years why for those two days, West London feels different. A personal talk through the wealth of music it offers giving way to a demonstration of the bassier, club-forward iterations of Carnival’s heritage. Essential!

Rasaaq
Our annual outdoor day-timer gets the U.S. touch to boot it off. Boston’s own Rasaaq slings a kind of midnight seance to grace the beginning. House music selected around the duskiest edges of the deep. That basement romance, semi-progressive, smoked out and sultry outsider cuts. Essential stuff. Tip!

Lt Headtrip & NorthernDraw (Live)
A Danish/RP debut from Lt Headtrip and NorthenDraw. Original West-Coast rhythms from NorthernD to boot it off. Sludgy, swaggered, slightly funked up ‘n electric sampling and beat patterning. Free flowing lyricism to ride out the rest of it. Something real and organic going on here, comes from the heart and delivers like a window into a world far afield from the austere greys of this Northern European Friday.

Nomadi w/ Michelangelo
Nomadi returns after a measured break to ease in Friday’s proceedings. Inviting Michelangelo this time, only the second Italian guest no less, a long trip made prior to landing in Copenhagen in an old Panda as an impetus for a winding discussion on the nomadic experience, differing music scenes, life, et cetera. Highly relaxing, interesting, and personal soundtracked conversation.

Come say hi
We're live every Friday & Saturday.
Come find us.
Studio carved out of the dancefloor at Jolene, in the heart of Copenhagen's Meatpacking District. Real Italian panini, good drinks, better music. Everyone's welcome.
Fri 17–23 · Sat 15–23 · Club until 05:00
Got something to say?
The mic is open.
Pitch us your show.
We're always looking for new voices — regular slots, one-off takeovers, collaborations. If you've got a concept, a crate, or a story worth telling, we want to hear it.
Especially looking for
- · Early-slot shows — afternoons, pre-evening
- · Non-dance music — jazz, soul, ambient, world, anything beyond the club
- · Old-school talk radio — interviews, columns, spoken word
