Effective 12 May 2026
Privacy policy
We are a small Copenhagen community radio. We try to collect as little personal data as we can get away with — and to be honest about what we do collect. This page explains what, why, and how to ask us to stop.
Who we are
Radio Panini is operated by the Radio Panini team at Jolene, Flæsketorvet 81, 1711 Copenhagen V, Denmark. Reach us at hello@radiopanini.com.
What we collect, and why
Visiting the site itself: nothing more than your browser sends on every web request (IP, user-agent, the page you asked for). Vercel and our DNS provider keep short-lived logs of those for operations and abuse prevention.
If you apply to play (the form at /apply), we store what you fill in: artist name, email, optional pronouns, a short bio, mix links, optional sensitive-category info (whether you identify as part of a marginalised group), and what you'd like to do on the station. We use it to review applications and reply.
If you order from the shop, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card data — we never see it. We do see the order details (what you bought, name, shipping address, email) so we can ship and contact you about the order.
Email replies between you and us live in our Gmail (Google Workspace) inbox.
Where it lives
- Application data: Sanity (CMS — EU-hosted).
- Order data: Stripe + Sanity.
- Email: Google Workspace.
- Stream / schedule metadata: RadioCult.
- Static site + logs: Vercel.
All processors above are GDPR-compliant data processors with appropriate data-processing agreements in place.
Cookies
We set a session cookie (rp_intake_auth) once you unlock the internal artist/show forms with the team password. Beyond that, the public site sets no tracking cookies. Embedded third-party players (YouTube, SoundCloud) may set their own cookies when you press play — see those services' own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
Applications: indefinitely, so we can come back to you later (you can ask us to delete yours any time). Orders: retained for as long as Danish tax law requires (currently 5 years). Email: as long as the conversation is useful, then archived or deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- tell you what data we hold about you,
- correct it,
- delete it,
- stop using it for a specific purpose,
- hand it over in a portable format,
- complain to Datatilsynet (the Danish DPA) if you think we've mishandled it.
Email hello@radiopanini.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we materially change this policy, we'll bump the effective date at the top. The full edit history lives in our public git repo.
