A seasoned figure in the nightlife industry for over a decade, over the last few years he has become a staple in the Copenhagen electronic music scene through his community building role as founder of Radio Panini and as the creative director of one of the longest standing nightclubs in the city: Jolene Bar. As a DJ, TS Kahuna defines himself a generalist by nature, his curiosity leading him to dig deep into a wide palette of sounds, styles, and influences - from classic downtempo to contemporary leftfield bass passing through the more organic and classic iterations of the house and techno continuum. Drawn to the weird, the slippery, and the hard-to-pin-down, his sets are anything but predictable — shape-shifting between tempos, moods, genres, and energies in a way that’s both playfully serious and seriously playful. Expect psychedelic polyrhythms, brain-bending sound design, stripped down minimalist 4/4 tools, dubbed out atmosphere and emotional evergreens all folded into one ride — a journey guided by instinct and curiosity rather than a fixed formula. As a seasoned figure in the nighlifte industry, for TS Kahuna it’s not about being recognised for a clear-cut sonic identity nor the chase for the latest shiny object, but rather about crafting organic, coherent trips that surprise both himself and the dancefloor. With over 20k tracks in his hard drive always with him, he shines through long sets that allow for his vision to unfold through the night together with the crowd, with bespoke and intentional selections in a constant sustain and release of tension. Outside of his DJ career, Francesco has contributed in many ways to provide platforms and create opportunities for others, contributing to pinning copenhagen electronic scene on the global map through several projects. As the founder of **Radio Panini** — a community radio and panini bar broadcasting twice a week from Copenhagen hotspots Baggen and Jolene — Kahuna is a passionate advocate for inclusivity, diversity, and genre-fluidity in the world of online radio. What started as a local experiment has grown into a buzzing hub with over 30 resident hosts, where music lovers gather weekly for good tunes, good vibes, and good food. With his long-running radio show project **Spazio Aperto**, which has been airing on Noods Radio, Radio Raheem, Operator and Threads among others, co-hosted alongside Prince of Whales since 2019, Kahuna has offered a playground for emerging artists to stretch their creative muscles and explore fresh corners of their sound. On the promoter side, his latest brainchild **Floor Clearance** (run together with Vienna’s Studio Natura) leans into the leftfield dancefloor — an unpretentious, adventurous night that has welcomed some of Europe’s most kaleidoscopic artists, from Bristol’s Yushh to Italy’s Piezo passing through Japan’s Stones Taro plus collaborations with collectives like La Notte (Turin), Yakamooz (Austria), and Traverse (Amsterdam).
